Church Reform for Lay People

Over at the 9Marks blog, Church Matters, Greg Gilbert is writing on “How to Reform a Church When You’re Not the Pastor.” I’ve found his first five posts very practical and helpful.

  1. Church reform is easier in a small church than a large one.
  2. Do what Christians do – love.
  3. Make yourself a help, not a problem, to your church’s leaders.
  4. (With a pure heart) Aspire to leadership.
  5. Have conversations with people.

Check them out, enjoy, and apply.
