Christian Orders of Worship

…can be the same across cultures, languages, times, and places.  And that, 9Marks’ Michael McKinley and Jonathan Leeman say, is a good thing.

Even when you think about it missiologically, I would tend to agree.  Who wouldn’t want to go to a foreign church and simply find them basing their ministry on the Word and the Gospel by singing, praying, reading Scripture, and listening to a sermon?

As Leeman hints, it may be that we think too much of man and too little of God when we talk about church planting and “new ways to worship.”
