On Family Worship: Just Do It

Guys, I know the biggest frustration/discouragement/temptation when it comes to family worship is thinking that it has to be this perfectly expositional, three-point, deep, insightful sermon with deep prayer and praise to God. The truth is, as Tim Smith over at the Resurgence says, that the simple, short, daily rhythm you’re building into your family is as important as anything else.

He offers these seven tips:

  1. Keep it short
  2. Read [the Bible]
  3. Pray
  4. Sing
  5. Keep it regular
  6. Older kids set the example
  7. Limit TV

So, men, how are we doing? Are we doing it at all?
