How God’s Gospel Crosses Cultures

Based on God’s passion for His own glory, cross-cultural church planting requires at least eight core convictions:

  1. A specifically God-centered understanding of God and therefore His written Word
  2. A specifically God-centered understanding of the gospel of grace to the praise of God’s glory
  3. A God-given passion for the glory of God in Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit
  4. A faith-filled reliance on God through “praying at all times”
  5. A belief in the centrality of preaching for faith in Christ, not works for Christ
  6. A belief in the ministry of all believers
  7. A belief in the centrality and flexibility of the church in the God-centered ministry of the gospel
  8. A belief in the importance of training like-minded leaders within the church

Do you have any related thoughts? Do any of these resonate with you? Have I missed any? Are any of them way off base?
